Silver Halide

Not just Art Canvas

Conventional photography used light sensitive silver halide coated paper to produce prints. This process was more expensive and much slower than prints which were generally made today using ink jet technology. However for regular sized prints on paper 6X4, 5X7, and 8X12 silver halide processing gives better quality and longer lasting prints than ink jet processing.

The technology is now available to convert digitally stored images onto light sensitive silver halide paper. The downside is that the machines that can do this are very expensive (currently around $200,000.00)

Perhaps you have digital images that you would like to have printed using the silver halide process on “gold standard” Kodak Matt endura paper and framed.

We can do this for you. The cost of an 8 X 12 enlargement will be AU$ 12.00 for a single print, or $10 each if five or more prints are ordered at the same time. (these can be different prints). Postage of the prints back to you would be extra. For bulk orders of 6X4 or 5X7 prints go to our prices on our companion web site Pets Pics.
